Gerard Devlin

The death took place suddenly on January 19 of Gerard Devlin, husband of Maureen, formerly of 28 Desmond Avenue, Lurgan.

He was the father of Kathleen, Conor and Christopher and grandfather of Ruari.

His funeral was on Friday to St Peter’s Temporary Church followed by interment in St Colman’s Cemetery.

Thomas McAreavey

The death took place suddenly at home on January 20 of Thomas (Tommy) McAreavey, St Patrick’s Park, Armagh, and formerly of 102 Clonmeen, Craigavon.

He was the partner of Patricia and father to Hollie, Connor, Natasha and Nicole and son to Barney and the late Sheila.

His funeral was on Saturday to St Patrick’s Cathedral followed by interment in Lylo Cemetery, Lurgan.

Howard Curran

The death took place suddenly at hospital on January 21 of Howard (Jack) Curran, 9 Dunkirk Road, Waringstown.

He was the husband of Elizabeth and father of Richard and Barbara.

His funeral was on Saturday to Lurgan Baptist Church followed by interment in Lurgan Cemetery.

Norman Clarke

The death took place peacefully at hospital on January 22 of Norman Clarke, husband of the late Helen, 76 Banbridge Road, Waringstown.

He was the father of Norma, Olive, Albert and Mervyn.

His funeral was on Sunday from his daughter Norma’s home to Aghalee Old Burying Ground.

Isabella Margaret Bell

The death took place at hospital on January 23 of Isabella Margaret (Maggie) Bell, nee Collins, 27 Castlevue Park, Moira.

She was the wife of the late George, mother to David and stepmother to Freddie, John, Gordon, Rodney and the late Brian and Trevor.

Her funeral service was on Monday in Ronnie Thompson’s Funeral Church followed by interment in Trummery Graveyard.

Brian Donnelly

The death has taken place in England of Brian Donnelly, formerly of Black’s Court, Lurgan.

He was the brother of Malachy and sister of Maureen Toland.

Samuel Davidson McCormick

The death took place peacefully at hospital on January 24 of Samuel Davidson (Sam) McCormick, 24 Pines Park, Lurgan.

He was the husband of Phyllis, father of Alison, Ruth and Alwyn and father-in-law of Diane.

His funeral service was in his home on Wednesday followed by interment in Lurgan Cemetery.

Kathleen Hickland

The death took place peacefully at home on January 25 of Kathleen Hickland, ‘The Glen’, 2 Riverdale Road, Upper Ballinderry, Glenavy.

She died just three weeks short of her 90th birthday and 13 months after the death of her husband John.

She was the mother of Geraldine Graham, Charlie, Maretta Donaghy, Kay Murphy, Monica, Ann Foster, Ben, Colette McCann and the late Sean.

Her funeral was on Wednesday to St Joseph’s Church, Glenavy, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
