Deaths in the community this week

The death took place on March 25, peacefully at Craigavon Area Hospital, of Michael McAlinden of Blair Drive, Lurgan.

He was the husband of Kay, son of Margaret and the late Moses and brother of Joe, Anne and Bernadette.

His funeral was to St Peter’s Church on Thursday following by burial at St Colman’s Cemetery.

Patricia McGlone

At Southern Area Hospice on March 25, the death took place peacefully of Patricia McGlone of Ashdene Park, Taghnevan.

She was the mother of Terence and sister of Maureen, Seamus, Kay, Theresa and Von.

Her funeral was on Friday at St Paul’s Church following by interment in St Joseph’s Cemtery, Caledon, County Tyrone.

Jordan Howe

The death took place suddenly on March 28 of Jordan Howe of Garland Drive, Lurgan.

He was the son of John and Elizabeth of Garland Drive, Lurgan and brother of Stephen, Joshua, Julie, Mark and Caolan.

His funeral was on Monday from his late residence to St Peter’s Church followed by interment at St Colman’s Cemetery.

Veronica Lavery

The death took place peacefully on March 28 at Royal Victoria Hospital of Veronica Lavery of Lavery’s Bridge Road, Moira.

She was the wife of the late Edward and mother of Edward, Mary, Joe, Thomas, Eugene and Raymond and sister of Theresa.

Her funeral was on Monday to St Colman’s Church, Kilwarlin followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
