Debris of silver Shogun found at crash scene in Ballyronan

POLICE in Magherafelt are appealing for information about a hit-and run collision.

The accident happened in the early hours of Saturday

Constable Lynsey Glover, the investigating officer, explained: “Shortly before 2am on Monday October 6, a vehicle collided with a fence at a house near the Point Road junction at Shore Road, Ballyronan. About 15metres of the fence was knocked down.

“Debris from a vehicle was recovered at the scene. It is believed to come from a silver Mitsubishi Shogun, or a similar vehicle.

“Police are looking to speak with anybody witnessed the collision or has any information regarding a car of this type with recent damage.”
