Since 2004, Rowan has been learning from and playing with Johnny Murphy who joins him on two of the tracks on this album.

Rowan is accompanied on the “Itchy Fingers” album by well-known Ballymena pianist Rose Murray. There are some interesting arrangements in this varied selection of tunes from Ireland, Scotland, the Shetland Isles and Canada.

It includes some original compositions by both Rowan and Johnny, alongside established favourite such as The Spoot of Skerry, The Auld Fiddler, Garret Barry’s Jig, The Congress Eeel and the Golden Eagle Hornpipe, amongst others.

This album of exciting fiddling is bound to be enthusiastically received by fans of traditional music both in his native Antrim and further afield.

It is available on line from Glens Music (www.glensmusic.co.) or directly from Rowan ([email protected]).
