Defendant ‘forgot’ to produce documents

A Lurgan man who forgot to produce his driving documents to police was fined a total of £200 last Friday at Craigavon Magistrates Court.

Robert Haughian (22) Rampart Street was fined £100 for failing to produce his licence and another £100 for not producing his insurance.

The court heard he was stopped while driving in Sloan Street on May 13 this year and asked to produce his driving documents.

A solicitor for Haughian said he needed to get his organisational skills in order as he simply forgot to produce his licence and insurance.
