Defendant ‘kicked his wife on the head’
A Lurgan man who kicked his wife on the head was bound over to keep the peace last Friday at Craigavon Court.
Andrew William Thompson (48), Glenavon Lane admitted unlawful assault on May 8. The court heard that just after 1am police received a call from a distressed female who said she was being assaulted by her husband. He was verbally abusive to her and kicked her on the head.
When cautioned he replied ‘whatever’. The injured party received minor bruising.
Thompson and his wife were back together and she was in court with him. He was bound over for two years.
