Defendant sent for trial to crown court

A 22-year-old man has been returned for trial to Craigavon Crown Court on charges including possessing and supplying drugs.

Ryan Pepper, no fixed abode, appeared last Wednesday at a preliminary enquiry.

He is charged that between March 11, 2014, and March 13, 2014, he entered as a trespasser a dwelling at Westland Road, and stole a copper water tank and piping.

It is also alleged that on March 13, 2014, he stole protein powder and an energy shot, valued at £72.97, from Holland and Barretts. He is charged on March 14, 2014, he had unlawfully in his possession Methyletheathinone and with unlawful possession of Methylone and having it with intent to supply.

He is accused of possession of a class B drug, Fluoromethcathinone, on March 14 2014 and with intent to supply.

Pepper was remanded to appear for arraignment at Craigavon Crown Court on October 22.
