Defendant sent to trial on drug charge
A Lurgan man has been returned for trial to Craigavon Crown Court accused of cultivating a cannabis plant.
Twenty one year old Timothy David Deardon, Queen Street, Lurgan, appeared last Wednesday at a preliminary enquiry at Craigavon courthouse.
He is charged with cultivating a cannabis plant at Queen Street, Lurgan, on August 6 last year and possession of herbal cannabis.
Deardon was returned on his own bail of £300 to appear for arraignment at Craigavon Crown Court on February 18.
