Delacherois Avenue crash: Enquiries ongoing, say police

Police investigating a road traffic collision in the Delacherois Avenue area of Lisburn on Friday evening (October 14) say there have been 'no arrests to date' in connection with the incident.

Shortly before 7:30pm residents reported that a white car had collided with a number of parked vehicles before flipping over and coming to rest on its roof.

The driver of the car was taken to hospital for treatment for injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.

The road was closed for several hours between the junctions of Victory Street and Lawnmount Crescent.

On Wednesday (October 19), a PSNI spokesperson confirmed that there have been “no arrests to date” in connection with the incident, but added that “enquiries are ongoing”.

Investigating officers have appealed for anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward. They can be contacted at Lisburn Station on 101.
