Delia gets acquainted with Queen

AWARD winning Travel Agent Delia Aston has been rubbing shoulders with Royalty this week as she got the inside track on the latest addition to the Cunard Fleet.

With the new Queen Elizabeth named in Southampton on Monday, Delia and her team have been acquainting themselves with the latest luxury liner.

A sister ship to Queen Victoria but very much with her own personality, the Queen Elizabeth has a capacity of 2,090 guests.

As with Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria, accommodation is split into Queens Grill, Princess Grill and Britannia.

For those guests looking for single seating or flexible dining, then Queen Elizabeth has a new dedicated Britannia Club restaurant. This is allied to Premium Balcony cabins and represents tremendous value for money.

For those more value-conscious guests, rather than trading up to Princess Grill they could, perhaps, opt for the Britannia Club option.

As with her sister ships, Queen Elizabeth has the famed Queens Grill, Princess Grill and Britannia dining rooms. As well as the new Britannia Club offering single seating dining, it also has The Verandah. This is an alternative restaurant themed on the original Verandah Grill restaurant on Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth. It offers the absolute best in fine French cuisine.

With many guests today seeking more alternative dining options, the line have also added three alternative dining venues in the evening in the Lido Restaurant - with the Aztec (fine Mexican), Jasmine (beautiful Asian food) and Asado (an Argentinian meat experience).

The Theatre on board Queen Elizabeth is second to none and features the Queen Elizabeth Theatre Company. This is an innovative move with a theatre company of 21 people who will provide the very best in West End production shows as well as featuring Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, Neil Simon plays and a range of other very contemporary entertainment.

Indeed the new ship is packed with features which Delia and her team will be only too happy to talk you through. To book your date with Royalty contact ClubWorld Travel on 3832 9600.
