A number of students who transferred to St Michael’s to take up A Level studies two years ago performed exceptionally well and these included Fabiana Vito, Karen Major and James Haughey.

A Level performances were matched by year 13 students who produced an impressive array of top grades in their AS studies. Students achieving three A grades or better included: Rachel Bunting, Marianne Downing, Eimear Hackett, Nicola Harnedy, Sarah Henderson, Conleth McAlinden, Keva McGarry, Gavin McGrath, Anne-Marie Mongan, Rachel Mooney, Michaela Mulholland, Niall Rodgers and Aaron Toland.

Principal, Mr Gerard Adams, stated he was delighted at the achievements of both year 14 and year 13 students: “I am confident that our year 14 students will proceed to even greater achievements at University and beyond and I am very pleased that our year 13 students have laid solid foundations for success next year."

Mr Adams also hoped that the teachers of St Mary’s and St Paul’s schools would share in the pride of St Michael’s staff at the achievements of the young people whom they had cared for together over the past seven years.
