Dementia Carers Support Group meeting to be held

Do you care for or support someone with dementia? Then come along to the monthly Carers’ Support Group in Lisburn.

The Carers ‘ Support Group runs on the first Thursday of every month in Lagan Valley Hospital, the Old Department of Psychiatry (red brick building) at 7pm.

The next meeting is on Thursday, February 6 at 7pm and the topic will be ‘An Overview of Dementia’.

The guest speakers at the meeting will be Danny Branniff (Community Psychiatric Nurse) and Emma McConville (Dementia Support Worker, Alzheimer’s Society).
