Derriaghy ladies get crafty for Christmas

President Anne Hunter welcomed all the members to the November meeting of Derriaghy WI.

It was a very relaxing evening as Anne instructed everyone in the sewing of bookmarks and little boxes for Christmas gifts. The ladies were all pleased with their finished items.

Enid Thomas thanked Anne and presented her with a token of appreciation.

Arrangements were finalised for the December outing to the pantomime in the Island Centre.

Ballots were won by Eva Moore and Minn Moore.

Following a lovely supper the evening closed with the Countrywomen’s Song.
