Dervock Oak Leaf Club Easter draw

Margaret Walker and Lottie Stewart (joint chairs) reported that a total of £320 was raised from the raffle which will go towards expenses needed for social outings for senior citizens within the community of Dervock.

Lottie Stewart commented: “We would like to thank all those businesses, committee members who provided gifts for out annual Easter draw – those members who sold tickets and to the general public; who without their continued support we would struggle to exist.

“The winners are as follows. 1st Linda McAleese, 2nd Barman c/o R Stewart, 3rd Ronnie McClarty, 4th Megan Kelly, 5th Lee Kelly, 6th Isobel Smyth, 7th Russell Smyth, 8th Trey Walker, 9th Tilly McIntyre, 10th Roberta Inch, 11th Pamela McKeeman, 12th Moya McLaughlin.”

Margaret Walker concluded: “If anyone would like to join the Oak Leaf Club and help organise social events e.g. raffles, dances, coach trips etc – please contact the ‘Community House’, Dervock on 028 207 42568 or email: [email protected].

“If you have any issues that you think needs addressed; please come and bring those concerns to the monthly meetings.

“The next meeting will be on Tuesday 24 April at the Community House (8pm).

“We are an integral of the Association and provide a voice for those within our community who would feel isolated, vulnerable and unheard.”
