They believe a post mortem is due to take place tomorrow morning, Friday 11 December.

Dungannon SDLP councillor, Denise Mullen, told the Times the teenager played football with her own son with Killyman St Mary’s GFC.

“All day today groups of this young lad’s friends have been coming in to my coffee shop and they are just completely devastated.

“My heart goes out to his family, particularly so close to Christmas, and I would like to extend my sympathy to them.

“The young lad played U16 football with my son in Killyman and there was a great unity among all the lads. It is just devastating.”
