Device contained cannabis resin
WHEN police found a small device on a young Craigavon man it was later found to contain some cannabis resin, the local court heard last Thursday.
Daniel Paul McCartney (18), of Hillcrest Mews, Craigavon, was fined 50 for possession of a class B drug on September 9 last year.
The court heard when McCartney was stopped and searched at the Drumgor shops a small smoking device was found on him. When examined it was found to contain cannabis resin.
A solicitor for the defendant said he found this object but he knew what it was for. He had since stopped using cannabis.
