DHU VARREN VILLAGE ON THE MARKET

The student village at Dhu Varren in Portrush has been placed on the market.

The site, located just off the Porstewart Road, comprising of 24 homes, has been given a price tag of £1.6 
million

Fiona Rice, Senior Residential Asset Manager at The Lotus Group, who are the current owners, told The Coleraine Times that the 1.26 acre site has a mix of town houses.

She said that 12 of the 24 properties are currently tenanted, and that they bring in an annual income of £66,000.

Andrew Lennon from agents Colliers revealed that there had been ‘good interest’ in the site in the short time it has been on the market.

The village comprises of six three storey six bed townhouses; seven six-bed two storey townhouses; six four-bed three storey townhouses; two five-Bed two storey townhouses; two five-bed three storey townhouses and one end townhouse with one bedroom.

All of the homes have fitted kitchens and bathrooms, oil fired central heating or Economy Seven heating and double glazing.

A planning application has also been submitted for the site. It proposed to change the current use, from student accommodation to residential units.

Located on Dhu Varren Park, potential buyers are being advised that the homes on the site could be sold as individual units.

The site is being jointlymarketed for sale by Colliers and Simon Brien Residential.
