Did you see Agnew Street hit-and-run?

LARNE police are urgently seeking witnesses to a recent hit-and-run collision in which a female pedestrian sustained a number of injuries.

Police understand that the town centre traffic collision – on Agnew Street close to the junction with Victoria Road – happened at approximately 11.30pm on August 9,

It is reported that that the pedestrian was struck by a dark-coloured vehicle which failed to stop.

As a result of the collision, the woman sustained a broken wrist and broken ribs.
