Disappointing start for Ballymoney

BALLYMONEY Rugby Club had a disappointing start to the new season falling 62-0 away to Clogher Valley.

Ballymoney can take some positives from the experience gained in the pack, where young players like Andy Brown and Calum Macdonald will no doubt have learned some valuable rugby lessons for their future 1st XV appearances.

Next week sees Coleraine visit Kilraughts Road, so there is no better match to get the season on track. The 2nds also look to start their season well, welcoming the visit of Malone 3s. A large crowd is expected on the day for what is sure to be a much more entertaining pair of fixtures.
