The court heard that police were called to a road traffic collision at a roundabout on the North Circular Road involving two vehicles.

A solicitor for Henderson said he was working as a labourer with his uncle’s building firm and was asked to move a dump truck from one location to another. His uncle was not aware he was disqualified.

The solicitor added that Henderson had expressed remorse about the injury to the young lady in the car and had apologised to her.

A pre-sentence report assessed him as a low risk of re-offending.
