Distraction thefts
POLICE in Foyle are urging bars and cafes to be vigilant following a number of distraction thefts over the last few weeks.
It is understood individuals believed to be foreign nationals are entering premises on the pretence of handing out brochures to customers.
When they leave the customer notices a personal item like a purse or mobile missing. Police are keen to speak to anyone who could identify these individuals.
