Districts go on parade

LOWER Iveagh District play host to the Twelfth in Waringstown.

Eight districts will be on parade – Lower Iveagh, Rathfriland, Banbridge, Lower Iveagh West, Bann Valley, Loughbrickland, Gilford and Newry.

The parade will start in the assembly field on the Dunkirk Road and leave at around 11.45am to parade along Dunkirk Road, Waringstown Road, Main Street, Clare Road and then into the demonstration field.

Guest speaker will be Drew Nelson, Grand Secretary of the Grand Orange Lodge of Ireland.

The first lodges will leave the demonstration field at approximately 3.45pm and parade back through the village.
