Diverse City photo competition launched

BUDDING photographers in the Council area are encouraged to get snapping for the annual Diverse City Photo competition.

Hugely successful to date, the last two calendars included an eclectic mix of images depicting the city and its people.

Carol Stewart, a Council community relations officer, appealed for budding photographers of all ages to enter; “The response we have received in the past to this competition has been excellent and the calendars we have produced are really amazing, depicting a wide range of images of the city and its people. The calendar is used to promote our diversity message and the fact that we welcome people from all backgrounds, religions, cultures and traditions,” she said.
