Diversity champion to be appointed
The Causeway Coast and Glens Council are to appoint a ‘diversity champion’ from within the ranks of their couoncillor.
Limavady DUP man James McCorkell asked Chief Executive, David Jackson, for an update on the plans during a recent council meeting. Cllr McCorkell asked: “We had previously looked at the appointment of a diversity champion. Has there been any progress made in that regard?”
Mr Jackson replied: “We are looking for an elected member nomination from the council.”
