An Arizona woman would like to hear from ‘Pattersons’ in the Ballymena area.
Yvonne Patterson Watkin is particularly interested in anyone who might be related to one Archibald Patterson, a shoemaker born in Londonderry around 1735-50, who was married to Anna Weir and emigrated to Pennsylvania around 1773. Yvonne, who is coming over to Ballymena in September, is offering a free DNA kit to a Patterson male whose family has been in the area for many years to ascertain whether or not they are related.
