Dobbies dig deep for charity

Frank Mooty, General Manager, said: “We’re delighted to be working alongside Cancer Focus NI once again this year. We formed a great partnership in 2015 and wish to carry this on in 2016.

“At Dobbies we always aim high and are looking forward to raising a huge amount of money over the course of the year for the charity. Last year we raised over £8,600 and want to beat that this year.”

Dobbies employees will spend the next year raising money in a number of ways.

Cancer Focus NI is a local cancer charity that provides a wide range of services for Northern Ireland cancer patients and their families. These include counselling and family support, bra and swimwear fitting for mastectomy patients, art therapy, Beauty for Life, stop smoking services and Keeping Well vans providing community health checks and advice. The charity also funds major research and carries out cancer prevention schemes in workplaces, schools and at community venues.
