Dog struck by vehicle
POLICE attended an incident in Ahoghill at the weekend in which a dog was struck by a vehicle.
Officers were flagged down by a member of the public in the Main Street area of the village at around 4.30pm on Sunday who informed them that a dog had been severely injured after being struck by a passing vehicle. The dog subsequently died from it’s injuries.
A PSNI spokesman said yesterday (Monday): “The driver of the vehicle has been spoken to by police and at this stage enquiries are continuing”.
