Doggy bag welcomed
Councillor Margaret Anne McKillop would like to thank Moyle District Council for supporting her motion to implement a doggy bag dispenser in the Cottage Wood site.
Cllr McKillop had received numerous complaints about the amount of dog dirt in the site and had even received one in which a small child had fallen into the dog dirt. Environmental Health were called and tried to catch the culprits but were unfortunately unsuccessful. Councillor McKillop believes that a dispenser would help the problem as dog owners would have to take responsibility and use the bags provided.
