Dogs Trust Ballymena appeals to the public: '˜Please give to dogs in need'
The festive family event, which warmly welcomes four-legged friends, has made an appeal for those dogs unfortunate enough to be spending Christmas day without a family.
The rehoming centre has asked for toys, blankets and tinned food to be brought along on the evening of the fair so the dogs spending Christmas in the shelter can enjoy a tasty treat for their Christmas dinner and have a new toy to play with come Christmas morning.

“Our Christmas Fair is always a highlight of our calendar and this year promises to be another great evening out for the whole family.
“With all proceeds going towards the care of our dogs at the centre whilst they await new homes, it’s a wonderful way to raise pounds for hounds and give back this Christmas.”
Visitors to the fair will have the opportunity to enjoy such highlights as the grand raffle, with 300 litres of home heating oil up for grabs, courtesy of Topaz Fuels.
You will be able to indulge in a mince pie or two and there will also be an opportunity to pick up Christmas gifts, cards and stocking fillers from various stalls selling treats, gifts and crafts.
