THE president, Angela Hamilton, welcomed the members to the November meeting in Donemana Primary School.

Mrs Mary Dooher was given a warm welcome and she gave an excellent flower arranging demonstration, producing beautiful Christmas arrangements. Mary was thanked by Pat O'Neill.

The competition for 'A floral Napkin' was by Evva Kennedy, Pat O'Neill was second and Angela Hamilton third.

The raffle was won by Irene Black, Evva Kennedy, Annie Bryson and Jean Clarke.

At the Donemana Women’s Institute October meeting, Vice President Mrs Daisy Mawhinney welcomed three new members.

As the October meeting was members’ night, they were entertained by Hilary McClean, Lynne Lapsley, Annie January, Daisy Mawhinney and Margaret Buchanan.

The monthly competition was for the most items for the most items found in a handbag which Martha Snodgrass won, runners-up were Helen Wylie and Elizabeth Hamilton.
