Double delight thanks to Blooms Florist

Eileen Lamont of Cambourne Drive, Ballymoney nominated Noreen Mark and her daughter Claire McAleese for being 'lovely people' despite suffering the effects of bereavement and cancer.

In an emotional letter, Eileen explained: "I would like to nominate my friends Noreen Mark and her daughter Claire McAleese.

"Noreen has battled breast cancer twice and has just had surgery to prevent it coming back in her stomach recently. She's always cheerful, never moans and just gets on with things.

"Claire, her daughter, took her grandmother in and nursed her until she died of cancer a few months ago. Claire also has been looking after her own mum - which can't be easy with two young children as well as a husband and a house of her own.

"They are both the loveliest people, always smiley and happy, always making everyone around them feel welcome.

"I know it is unusual to nominate two people but I just think they would both deserve a lovely wee surprise."
