Staff from the Environmental Services Department of Ballymena Borough Council, members of Doury Road Residents Association, High Kirk Church youth volunteers (SPARK), staff from McDonalds and local residents took part in the Big Spring Clean 2014, the annual initiative supported by Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful.

The main objective is to encourage and support local residents in carrying out a litter clean-up within their immediate neighbourhood, whilst at the same time raising awareness of items which are eligible for recycling.
