Dr Michael Leach gives talk on mountain gorillas to High students
Libraries NI was delighted to invite Dr. Leach to deliver a series of talks in a number of libraries across Northern Ireland to support Fact February, a promotion of information books.
During this talk, he focused on his time high in the forest with the mountain gorillas of Rwanda.

Hide AdThere are now only around 800 individuals left on earth - and he talked about meeting an entire family group, from a newborn baby to the silverback.
As well as focusing on gorillas in central Africa, he shared stories of his expeditions to photograph polar bears in the Arctic, penguins in the Antarctic and elephants in Kenya.
Dr Meriel Lland, who is a writer, researcher, photographer and film-artist entranced by the natural world, also attended the talk with Dr Leach.
She has co-authored books as well as devised, developed and undertaken fieldwork, research and educational workshops in collaboration with Dr Leach.
