Draperstown road in line for £120k resurfacing work

The work, which is due to start on July 27, is expected to last five weeks and will see a 1km stretch of the road resurfaced.

Road users will still be able to travel along the route when work gets underway, except on August 24 and 25 when traffic will be diverted to the B41 Tobermore and A29 Desertmartin roads.

Transport Minister Danny Kennedy said: “This scheme will greatly improve the strength and surface quality of this stretch of carriageway on this important route into the Sperrins through Draperstown.”
