Dreaming of Disney

Holly McConville and Courtney Morgan (both 11) have made it to the final 10 of a competition run by the Disney Channel.

The Craigavon pair need as many votes as possible for their video to win the top prize of a day in the life of Hannah Montana, including the red carpet treatment at a movie premiere and singing and acting lessons.

Holly and Courtney are in the same class at St Anthony’s Primary School and are both members of Moyraverty Arts and Drama Society. Holly explained how they came to enter the competition:

“It was advertised on TV. Courtney just asked one day if I would do it with her,” she said.

“It took a couple of weeks to get it all sorted out, costumes and all. Courtney’s dad videoed it and my dad edited it.

“It’s just a one minute scene from Hannah Montana that we act out.”

Courtney commented: “If you win you get a day in the life of Hannah Montana. We both are big fans. I love Miley Cyrus.”

She added: “We’re the only ones from Northern Ireland in the final 10.”
