Drink-drive warning

POLICE are warning the public not to drink and drive following three arrests of people suspected of the offence.

Venues for detections included Dunloy and Knock Road, Ballymoney, police said.

Sergeant David Moore of Ballymoney PSNI said: “We would appeal to all motorists to act responsibly. If you do drink and drive you are likely to get caught and lose your licence for at least a year.

“Worse still you could be involved in a fatal road traffic collision. If anybody sees someone with drink taken getting in to drive a vehicle get in touch with us straight away because that person is a danger to themselves and others,” said Sergeant Moore.

Police can be contacted on 08456008000.
