Drink driver given 12 month driving ban

A COOKSTOWN man has been handed down a 12 month driving ban after he pleaded guilty to a drink driving charge.

Gareth James Evans, 26, was also accused of having no mirrors on his Vauxhall Corsa when police stopped him on Chapel Street on Friday, August 6.

Dungannon Magistrates Court heard that Evans, of Queen's Avenue, had been drinking with his girlfriend until the early hours of the morning when she told him he was not allowed to stay at the property.
