Driver appeal
POLICE are appealing for the driver of a car involved in a collision with a foal on September 13 to get in touch
The young horse was found on the Saintfield Road about 200 yards from the Temple Crossroads at around 5am. It had sustained head injuries and broken leg and subsequently had to be put down.
Evidence at the scene suggested the foal had been struck by a car, however, the driver did not remain nor report the collision.
