Driver fined for insurance offence
A Lurgan man was fined £200 last Wednesday at Craigavon Magistrates Court for driving without insurance on September 3 last year.
Thirty seven year old Sean Owens, Carrickvale Avenue, Lurgan, also received six points and was ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy.
The court heard he was stopped while driving in Carrickdale Avenue.
A barrister for the defendant said he had been waiting for a call from the hospital and when he received the call he went to seen how his father was. He no longer has the car.
