Jonathan Allely, Demesne Grove, Moira, also received three points and was ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy.

The court heard that the offence happened at the junction of the Millennium Way and the Malcolm Road in Lurgan.

A solicitor for the defendant said that it was a momentary lapse of concentration.

District Judge, Mr Mervyn Bates, said Allely had accepted responsibility straightaway to the other driver involved in the accident.
