The driver took up an all too familiar refrain as budget cuts bite and local roads go to pot - or potholes to be precise

It’s been a long running problem across the province with the Department for Regional development, formerly under the helm of the UUP’s Danny Kennedy cutting its budgets for grasscutting and road repairs.

Nicholas Fitzsimmons, who fell victim to the potholes, told the ‘MAIL’: “They must be about three inches deep and about a foot cross.”
