Hide AdPSNI Cookstown posted on its Facebook page: “Out on patrol in the early hours of this morning and we noticed a vehicle swerving across the carriageway on the Dungannon Road, Cookstown.
“It turns out the driver was over twice the legal limit. The message is clear, don’t drink and drive. Think of the consequences.
“At best you will be arrested, lose your licence, be fined, have a criminal record and find it difficult to get or keep a job and get insurance.
“You could also cause a collision and seriously injure yourself or others or worse, you or someone else could lose their lives. It’s simple, never ever drink and drive.”
