Driving without insurance
A 23-year-old woman was fined £200 last Wednesday at Craigavon Magistrates Court for driving without insurance.
Caroline Mullen, whose address was given as Carrigart Manor, Craigavon, was also ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy and given six points.
The court heard that around midday on February 26, 2014, she was seen driving in Church Place, Lurgan.
A police check revealed there was no insurance in place but she was adamant that she had a valid policy.
Police spoke to her again later in the day and she admitted she did not have insurance.
