Past services have included testimony from Christians in the worlds of football, rugby and motorcycle road-racing.

A spokesperson said: “The group the church has invited to come and share this time (Sunday, November 22 at 6.30pm) have been described as being like swallows; they can be seen and heard throughout the Spring and Summer but then disappear when Autumn and Winter arrive . . . If one were to count the number of people who make up this group from across Northern Ireland, you would find it runs into thousands . . .”

Dromore Elim has extended an open invitation to the special service, where guests ‘Band of Brothers’ will speak about their work trying to reach band members, followers and supporters, with the Gospel message.

“Also,” the spokesperson said, “as it is a night for band-members, past and present, we will be including many DVD and YouTube clips of bands from near and far . . .”

The evening will close with former band-mamber, Pastor David Kinnin, giving an address and recalling his life as a band-member.
