Dromore High School pupils get a visit from Graham’s Construction

DROMORE year 9 geography pupils of Dromore High School looked at how we can protect the world’s environment and meet the demands from to-day’s construction industry.

Pupils discussed problems connected with global warming and dwindling power resources, the use of cleaner energy resources were displayed, the use of many recycled building materials and even the use of upholstery partly sourced from nettle fibres when they were visited by representatives of Graham’s Construction.

The pupils were shown how Graham’s Construction endeavour to retain wildlife in their areas of construction.
