Dromore man on assault charge
A Dromore man has been returned for trial to Newry Crown Court after appearing last Thursday at a preliminary enquiry at Banbridge Magistrates Court.
Lee Sofley (30), Thornhill Drive, Dromore, is charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm on a male on May 18 last year. He is also charged with unlawful damage to a duck and cover coat belonging to the same man.
Sofley was remanded on continuing bail to appear for arraignment at Newry Crown Court on February 26.
