Ryan Martin James Harbinson (29), Springwell Walk, Lurgan, was fined £350 and disqualified for six months for not having insurance on August 19 this year. He was also fined £75, with a £15 offender’s levy, for not having a vehicle test certificate.

The court heard that he was stopped while driving in Union Street, Lurgan.

A barrister representing the defendant said he already had three points on his licence.

He explained that Harbinson had just purchased the car and was driving from where he bought it to his house. He no longer had the car which had been sold on.
