Drugs, cash and mobile phone seized by police in Craigavon search

Drugs, cash and a mobile phone were seized by the PSNI after stopping a man in Craigavon on Friday.

Police said officers attached to the District Support Team had been patrolling the Craigavon Area.

Police said: “One crew stopped and searched a male recovering a quantity of tablets, cash and mobile phone. He was arrested for Possession of Class A drugs with Intent to supply, enquiries continuing.

Meanwhile a second man was arrested on a drugs related charge.

Police said: “At the same time another crew responding to reports from members of the local community, stopped with a vehicle and carried out a search of the driver and vehicle in which a quantity of Class B drugs were recovered.

“Unfortunately for the driver he was also in breach of previous bail conditions.

He was arrested and is still in custody.
