Drugs find: Two in court

A man and a woman in their 20s are to appear before Londonderry Magistrates Court today, Friday, charged with drug-related offences.

The charges follow the seizure of 3,600 suspected diazepam tablets in Londonderry on Wednesday.

The 21-year-old female and 24-year-old male are charged with a number of drugs offences, including possession of class C drugs, possession of class C drugs with intent to supply and supply of class C drugs.

Both are due in court this morning.

As is usual procedure the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
