Drugs seized in planned police searches

Police have seized a quantity of suspected class A drugs during planned searches in the Orkney Drive area of Ballymena.

Officers arrested two men, aged 38 and 17 during the searches on Tuesday afternoon, which focused on three addresses

A police spokesperson said the 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs and possession of class A drugs with intent to supply. The 17-year-old was arrested on suspicion of class A and B drugs and possession of class A and B drugs with intent to supply.

Both men have since been released on police bail as the investigation continues.
